Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher's latest project Ghoomer is making all the right noises ever since its release in theatres on August 18. Not just the audience, the film has also managed to strike a chord with the cricket fraternity. On that note, a special screening of the film was held on Sunday and attended by none other than Sachin Tendulkar himself. The ace cricketer was pictured with his wife Anjali as they showed up for the special screening of the film. The duo was joined by Saiyami Kher as well for some pictures. Saiyami plays the role of a differently-abled sportsperson in the sports drama.
Take a look at the pictures from the special screening:
Actress Saiyami Kher and director R Balki were also present for the special screening which was held in Mumbai. Saiyami Kher slipped into a white sweatshirt for the occasion. Abhishek Bachchan however was not present for the screening.

Meanwhile, in his detailed review of Ghoomer, Harsha Bhogle lauded Abhishek Bachchan for his "outstanding performance." Bhogle said, "Then there was Abhishek Bachchan. I think he lives the role of the coach. I love the way Abhishek marred the two into his character. I could recognize a couple of cricketers within the character that Abhishek plays, but I'll leave it for you to decide. But needless to say, he is outstanding, especially in the first half.”
Take a look at what Harsha Bhogle had to say:
Ghoomer is directed by R Balki. It also stars Saiyami Kher, Shabana Azmi, and Angad Bedi.
