Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai At 25: Hrithik Roshan Shares 27-Year Old Scribbles - "Proof Of Resilience"

Hrithik Roshan's debut film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai is celebrating 25 years of its release. The superstar, who became an overnight sensation with his first film, dug out throwback gold from his archive to mark this historic moment.

Hrithik Roshan shared handwritten notes from his preparation period of Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai. Hrithik mentioned in the caption, these 27-year old "scribbles" are the "proof of resilience."

The first page that Hrithik Roshan shared on Instagram talks about that big "One day" that all of us believe would change our future.

Looking back at his 25-year old journey, Hrithik Roshan wrote an inspiring and motivating note.

He wrote, "My notes from 27 years ago.Prepping as an ACTOR for my first movie Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. I remember how nervous I was. Still am when starting a movie. I'd be embarrassed sharing these, but after 25 years of being in the industry I guess I can handle it.

"Then to now, what's changed? I see these pages and realise - absolutely nothing. Good thing ? Bad thing? It's just how it is. Only process remains," he continued.

Thanking fans and followers, Hrithik Roshan wrote, "So much to be thankful for. So much to be grateful for. So much left to do.

"It's the 25th anniversary of Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. And the ONLY thing I want to celebrate are these scribbles in my rough book. Only thing I am relieved about is the proof of resilience.

"The first page says "one day" at the bottom. No such day happened, it never came. Or maybe it did but I missed it cause I was in prep," Hrithik signed off.

Hrithik's colleagues gave him a big shout out. Shilpa Shetty wrote, "Priceless." Fardeen Khan wrote, "Your journey and process has been an inspiration. Wish you continued success and a belated happy birthday."

Fossils Reveal Evolution of Early Nervous Systems in Ecdysozoans

A discovery has shed light on the early evolution of nervous systems in ecdysozoan animals, a group that includes insects, nematodes, and priapulid worms. Fossil evidence from the early Cambrian Kuanchuanpu Formation has revealed details of the ventral nerve cord structure in ancient organisms, providing key insights into the evolutionary history of this critical component of the central nervous system. This discovery offers a glimpse into the nervous system architecture of one of the earliest known ecdysozoan lineages.

Revelations From Cambrian Fossils

According to a study titled Preservation and early evolution of scalidophoran ventral nerve cord published in Science Advances, scientists analysed fossils from Cambrian deposits, including those of Eopriapulites and Eokinorhynchus. As reported by phs.org, the findings suggest that the ancestors of scalidophorans, a subgroup of ecdysozoans, possessed a single ventral nerve cord. Researchers observed structures along the ventral side of these ancient organisms, resembling the ventral nerve cords of modern priapulid worms.

Dr. Deng Wang from Northwest University and Dr. Jean Vannier from Université de Lyon indicated to phys.org that these impressions represent early examples of the nervous system design seen in present-day ecdysozoans. This evidence supports the hypothesis that a single ventral nerve cord was the ancestral condition for this group.

Implications for Evolutionary Biology

The study has highlighted evolutionary connections between the structure of the ventral nerve cord and the segmentation of body plans in ecdysozoans. According to statement to phys.org by Dr. Chema Martin-Durán of Queen Mary University of London, the findings propose that the common ancestor of all ecdysozoans likely had a single ventral nerve cord. Changes leading to paired nerve cords, seen in arthropods and kinorhynchs, are believed to have evolved independently, reflecting adaptations to segmented body structures.

Dr. María Herranz from Rey Juan Carlos University suggested that the emergence of paired nerve cords may have enhanced locomotion and coordination in segmented animals during the Precambrian-Cambrian transition. These findings underscore the role of fossil studies in uncovering the complexities of early animal development.

Shankar's film Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Anjali and SJ Suryah, has surpassed the lifetime collection of his previous project, the much-anticipated Indian 2, which featured Kamal Haasan.

The film is performing steadily at the box office. As per Sacnilk, Game Changer has collected Rs 89.60 crore net in India, with a recent collection of Rs 17 crore, bringing its total earnings to Rs 89.60 crore.

The film has outperformed  Indian 2 which earned Rs 81.32 crore net in India.

New Cartilage Type Found: Lipocartilage Resembles Fat, Boosts Elasticity

A newly identified form of cartilage, distinct from the three commonly recognised types, has been described by scientists. This tissue, termed "lipocartilage," stands out due to its unique composition. Unlike typical cartilage, which features thick fibre matrices, lipocartilage contains balloon-like cells filled with oils. These cells are uniform and closely packed, forming a springy yet durable structure. Found in areas such as the ear and nose, this tissue combines elasticity with resistance to deformation, according to reports.

Study Highlights the Characteristics of Lipocartilage

As per findings published in Science, lipocartilage was first observed during an analysis of mouse ear tissue. This tissue, resembling fat but with a distinct fibrous matrix, was shown to maintain its size regardless of calorie intake. Unlike adipose cells, lipocartilage lacks enzymes for fat breakdown and transporters for dietary fats, ensuring its structural stability. Maksim Plikus, Professor at the University of California, Irvine, compared it to "Bubble Wrap" in an email to Live Science, noting its role in enhancing the acoustic properties of the outer ear by maintaining consistent sound wave transmission.

Historical Observations Rediscovered

The tissue was first documented in the 1850s by Franz von Leydig, who described it as cartilage resembling adipose tissue. Subsequent mentions in the 1960s and 1970s faded into obscurity until its recent rediscovery. The study highlights lipocartilage's distinct genetic and molecular characteristics, supporting its classification as a potential fourth type of cartilage. Some experts, including Shouan Zhu from Ohio University, have expressed reservations, suggesting it might represent a subtype of elastic cartilage.

Wider Implications and Future Research

Lipocartilage was identified in human fetal tissues and several mammals but not in nonmammals. Researchers aim to explore its evolutionary origins, regenerative capabilities, and how it manages high fat content without toxicity. As reported by Live Science, according to Viviana Hermosilla Aguayo and Dr. Licia Selleri from the University of California, San Francisco, this discovery may necessitate updates to anatomy and histology texts.

Imran Khan's Ex-Wife Avantika Malik Opens Up About Their Divorce In A Cryptic Post: "It Broke, Unraveled Me"

Imran Khan and Avantika Malik married in 2011. However, after eight years of marriage, they decided to part ways in 2019. Recently, Avantika opened up about the emotional turmoil she experienced during their divorce. In a cryptic post, she shared how the year 2019 was a pivotal and painful moment in her life, adding that it "broke" her.

In her post, Avantika wrote, "The truth is, the number of days we have here is actually not so large. So if you have the opportunity to wake up tomorrow, to let this world age you, weather you, and meet you where you are for even just one more golden minute, I hope you show up for it. Do as much as you possibly can with your time here. Risk your heart. Express."

She continued, "Take care of others, leaving them better than you found them. Give yourself permission to take up space. Be all that you are. Love the way you hope to love and love people on purpose, with depth and intention. Keep rescuing those younger parts of yourself. Forgive. Put every ounce of your patchwork soul into this world, crack tenderness into all of its dark corners. Stay soft, stay curious, but most importantly just hold on to your hope. Hold on to your hope."

In the caption, Avantika also reflected on a meeting with a couple of friends she hadn't seen since 2019. She shared how they both noticed a change in her.

She wrote, "The last time they saw me in the flesh was 2019, the year I broke and unravelled... And then they saw me now. And they both had the same things to say... That they finally see me being authentic, the real me. And the joy they see brings to my eyes, a glow to my face... and I knew they were telling me the truth. But the best thing they said to me was that I was 'living.'"

Avantika then reflected on how she had reached this point of transformation, attributing it to her consistent choice of hope even in the darkest times. I know it's because somehow, shockingly, I always chose hope. In the darkest, bleakest moments (and there were a few), I reminded myself that if all I do is focus on putting out the love within me, the universe will generously reflect that back to me. What is within is without," she concluded.

Imran Khan and Avantika Malik, who had been together since childhood, married in a grand ceremony in 2011. After their separation in 2019, they continued to co-parent their daughter, Imara. Imran is now in a relationship with actress Lekha Washington.
