Jab Kareena Kapoor Met Rani Mukerji At A Taekwondo Competiton. Bonus - Little Taimur And Yash

Actors Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor, who starred in the 2002 film Mujhse Dosti Karoge, recently attended a taekwondo annual competition in Mumbai. In several pictures from the event, the two stars can be seen posing together. In another photo,  Kareena Kapoor could be spotted with her younger son Taimur, who is wearing a medal. Rani Mukerji also appeared in a photo with Karan Johar's son Yash Johar. Both Taimur and Yash were dressed in their taekwondo uniforms. For the event, Rani wore a T-shirt, denims and heels. Kareena was seen in a white top, grey pants and black heels.

Earlier this year, Kareena Kapoor blessed our feeds with a lovely picture of Rani Mukerji and herself. Tina and Pooja, IYKYK (If you know you know), the 3 idiots actress captioned the Instagram story.  In the picture, Rani looked lovely in a green summer dress while Kareena carried her black ensemble with style. Helmed by Kunal Kohli, Mujhse Dosti Karoge! is a romantic film that was released in 2002. In the film, Rani Mukherji played the role of Pooja, while Kareena played Tina. The film also starred Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. Kareena and Rani were also seen together in Talaash.

The two met each other for Kareena's show What Women Want. They also posed for shutterbugs stationed outside the shoot location. According to ANI,  in one of the videos that surfaced online, Rani was also seen addressing Kareena as her "Jaan". "Yeh meri jaan hai (She is my life)," Rani Mukerji said, evoking a smile from Kareena Kapoor.

On the work front, Rani was last seen in the role of a mother in the film Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. Directed by Ashima Chibber, Mrs Chatterjee VS Norway talks about the life of an immigrant mother who fights against all odds to win back the custody of her children. While Kareena will next be seen in The Buckingham Murders helmed by Hansal Mehta. It was recently premiered at the BFI London Film Festival. She will also be seen in The Crew alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon.

Aditi Rao Hydari, Sara Ali Khan And Sonakshi Sinha Attend Sharmin Segal's Wedding Reception Party

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece Sharmin Segal, who recently got married, hosted a wedding reception in Mumbai on Saturday night for her family and friends from the film fraternity. From Aditi Rao Hydari to Sara Ali Khan, the party was attended by several Bollywood stars. Actors Aditi Rao Hydari and Sonakshi Sinha, who will be starring alongside Sharmin in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Netflix web series Heeramandi were a part of the guest list at the reception party. Aditi Rao Hydari looked breathtakingly beautiful in a grey silk lehenga. She completed her look with jhumkas and bangles while Sonakshi Sinha made heads turn in a green ethnic wear. Her plus one at the reception was her rumoured boyfriend and Double XL co-star Zaheer Iqbal, who looked dapper in a suit. Sara Ali Khan also marked her presence at the party in a violet ensemble. She also posed for the paparazzi before entering the venue.

Actor Sharmin Segal married Aman Mehta, who is a businessman by profession earlier this week. The actor, who is set to feature in the director's Netfix series Heeramandi re-posted a ton of pictures shared by her friends from her special day. In her wedding pictures, Sharmin Segal can be seen wearing a heavily embellished silver-coloured lehenga and blouse. Her groom Aman complemented her in an ivory sherwani. In some pictures, the newlyweds can be seen sitting in a mandap. In one, Sharmin can be seen feeding Aman something with a spoon.

For the unversed, Sharmin is the daughter of Bela and Deepak Segal. She is the niece of director-producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Shermin made her debut in Bollywood with Malaal alongside debutant Meezaan. The film is produced by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

On the work front, she will be seen in Bhansali's OTT debut series Heeramandi. Heeramandi will showcase the story of the courtesans of Lahore and will explore the lesser-known aspects of their lives. It will be set in pre-independent India.

New day, new inside pictures of Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram from their wedding festivities and no, we are not complaining. The Love Aaj Kal 2 actor, who got married to his girlfriend Lin in an intimate ceremony in Imphal, treated his fans and followers on Instagram to some lovely images on Saturday night.  The couple got married in Manipur as per Meitei rituals in the presence of family and friends. A few days after sharing their wedding album, the newlyweds shared some more pictures from their wedding festivities. In the pictures, we can see the new bride dressed in a yellow while her husband can be seen complementing her in a white and golden attire. Randeep Hooda's sister Anjali Hooda can also be spotted in one of the pictures shared. The caption alongside the pictures read, "From 'I' to 'We' in a happily ever after."

After the wedding ceremony on November 29th, actors Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram were spotted at the Mumbai airport as they flew into the city from their wedding destination. The newlyweds were all smiles as they walked hand-in-hand at the Mumbai airport. Lin was pretty as ever in a red ensemble, while Randeep Hooda complemented her in a white outfit.

Sam Bahadur Box Office Collection Day 1: Vicky Kaushal's Film Earns Over Rs 5 Crore On Opening Day

Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur, which brings to life the story of war hero and Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, released in theatres on Friday. The film features Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. Sam Bahadur earned Rs 5.50 crore India net on its first day, reported Sacnilk. The film clashed with Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal at the box office. The report stated that Sam Bahadur had an overall 29.18% Hindi occupancy on Friday, December 1. Speaking of the occupancy in theatres, the night shows were the busiest with 49.69%, followed by evening shows, which had an occupancy of 30.55%. The afternoon shows had 20.61% occupancy and morning shows with 15.88% occupancy.

The film opened to stellar reviews on Friday. Film critic Saibal Chatterjee, in his review for NDTV, gave Sam Bahadur a 3.5 star rating out of 5 and he wrote, "It would be easy to describe Sam Bahadur as a Vicky Kaushal show because it is who dominates every major scene in the film. But without the fine balance that Meghna Gulzar strikes between ambition and restraint, neither the spirited central performance nor its emotional (and cinematic) payoff would have been quite as remarkable."

Sam Bahadur has been directed by Meghna Gulzar and it also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra. This is Vicky Kaushal's second project with Meghna Gulzar. The duo have earlier worked together in the 2018 critically acclaimed Raazi, which was also a box office hit. The film clashes with Ranbir Kapoor's Animal at the box office.

Animal Box Office Collection Day 1: Ranbir Kapoor's Film Gets A Grand Opening Of Rs 61 Crore

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, had a stellar start at the box office. The film released in theatres on Friday and it clashed with Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur at the box office. Animal collected a whopping Rs 61 crore on its release day, reported Sacnilk. Talk about a grand opening. The report stated that "Animal earned 61.00 Cr India net on its first day for all languages." About the film's 1st-day box office collection and occupancy - the Hindi rendition collected over Rs 50.50 crore, while the Telugu version collected Rs 10 crore. Animal had an overall 62.47% Hindi occupancy on Friday, the Sacnilk report stated.

Last night, Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared an X (earlier known as Twitter) post about the film's stellar performance at Indian theatre chains.

Animal  opened to average reviews from film critics. In his review for NDTV, film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave the film 1.5 stars out of 5 and he wrote, "Ranbir Kapoor delivers a powerful performance that is supported with customary elan by Anil Kapoor. But because the film is propelled in the main by problematic means and instincts, the efforts of the two stars can only go abegging. You want to look away when the two are peddling their wares."

Directed by Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, other than Ranbir Kapoor, Animal also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimrii in pivotal roles. The film clashed with Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur at the box office.

Arjun Kapoor To Sam Bahadur Actor Vicky Kaushal: "It Takes Guts To Take On A Character Like This"

Vicky Kaushal is over the moon as he has been receiving compliments for his performance in Sam Bahadur, based on the life of India's first  field marshal, Sam Manekshaw. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film released in theatres today. Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Karan Johar, Sara Ali Khan already heaped praise on Vicky for his excellent performance. Arjun Kapoor shared a detailed note on his Instagram story and applauded Vicky for his performance. Arjun Kapoor wrote about the film, "What a brave brave film! Bringing the story of India's greatest soldier to life." Praising the director, Arjun Kapoor wrote, "You have directed with such care, nuance and detail."

Arjun Kapoor praised Vicky Kaushal's courage to take up such a challenging character. He wrote, "It takes guts to take on a character like this... and then, to completely immerse oneself into it. You have  nailed Sam Manekshaw's portrayal on the big screenwith such conviction  and justice."

Arjun Kapoor also wrote about Fatima Sana Shaikh, who plays Indira Gandhi in the film and Sanya Malhotra, who plays Sam Manekshaw's wife in the film. Arjun added, "Fatima Sana Shaikh bringing in her A-game and Sanya Malhotra as Siloo, so fierce yet so endearing! Congratulations to the entire team! Must watch!"

Sharing Arjun Kapoor's post on his Instagram story, Vicky Kaushal wrote, "Thank you buddy!"

Vicky Kaushal received a sweet note from Manmarziyaan co-star Abhishek Bachchan. He wrote on X, "Saw #SamBahadur last night. Sam Bahadur opened to stellar reviews. In his review for NDTV, film critic Saibal Chatterjee wrote, "One of the most striking aspects of Sam Bahadur is that it eschews flag-waving militarism while celebrating the bravery of India's soldiers. It treads gently and thoughtfully through the life-threatening minefields that infantrymen have to negotiate in the line of duty. There are battle scenes and punchlines aplenty in the film, but they do not overshadow the less flashy components with which the lively biopic is constructed."

Giorgia Andriani On Being Referred To As Arbaaz Khan's Girlfriend: "I Find It Demeaning"

Giorgia Andriani, who was in a relationship with Arbaaz Khan for a brief period, confirmed recently that she broke up with him. Giorgia Andriani also said that she finds it demeaning when people refer to her as "someone's girlfriend." Speaking to Pinkvilla, the model-actor said, "I do find it demeaning for someone's personality to be addressed as someone's girlfriend, or someone's boyfriend or someone's something. I find it very demeaning. I have lived my life, till now all my struggles, all my work, all my preparations...my evolution to become what I am now to be called 'somebody's girlfriend'. I definitely find it very demeaning. I wish not to be called that anymore."

Giorgia also said that Arbaaz Khan's equation with ex-wife Malaika Arora didn't have any impact on their relationship. Speaking more about it, she said to Pinkvilla, "The relationship that he had with Malaika (Arora) did not really come in the way of my relationship with him. What I am now to be called somebody's girlfriend, I don't, I definitely find it very demeaning. We both knew that it wouln't have lasted forever. It was very different." About Arbaaz Khan, she said, "We were friends, we were like best friends. I will always have feelings for him, I will always do."

In an earlier interview, Arbaaz Khan addressed the issue of age difference between him and Giorgia. He said to  Siddharth Kannan, "There's a humongous age difference between us, but neither of us has felt it. I ask her sometimes, 'really?' It could have been a brief and short-term affair. But when you get into a relationship, you don't look too far ahead, but the longer you're in it, there are more questions that need to be answered... I think we are in that phase of our lives thinking about how we would like to take it further. It is too early to talk for me right now."

On the work front, Arbaaz Khan was last seen in Sony Liv series Tanaav. Meanwhile, Georgia Andriani has worked in the 2017 movie Guest iin London and Tamil web series Karoline Kamakshi among others.
